Cotcare SPL

Described as a nutrition supplement based on a salt of phosphorus acid, to provide nutrition, increase the size of fruits and vegetables, and build resistance against diseases such as damping off, koleroga of arecanut, wilt, and downy mildew. The same page also calls the product Cromin.

• Composition named on the page: total solids comprising salt of phosphorous acid, plus emulsifiers and functional media. Percentages are not printed.
• On spraying, plants are described as growing better and withstanding stress and disease.
• Shake well before use. Dilute 1 to 2 ml in one liter of water and spray. Repeat every 7 to 10 days.
• Grapes: 600 ml per acre, applied after pruning when buds have sprouted.
• Citrus: 20 to 30 ml per plant, pre- and post-monsoon.
• Coconut and arecanut: 2 ml per liter. Drench the inflorescence and fronds, pre- and post-monsoon.
• Black pepper: 10 to 15 ml per vine, pre- and post-monsoon.
• Tomato, brinjal, chilli, and other vegetables: 2 ml per liter, during high humidity and low temperature.
• Expiry: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
• Nex Farm states that the active ingredients are not listed under CIB or FCO, and that percentages can change with storage, heat, or sunlight.
